PRODUCT SORTING ON SHOPIFY
Working with as many e-comm brands as we do, we often get asked questions from clients about how to customize their website. Recently, we had a client reach out to us with a quick question about changing the order of products on their clothing page. The client was trying to move sold out products to the bottom of the page so it was easier to find what was in stock. This may seem like a simple task, but it’s important to understand how to do it properly to avoid any issues on your website.
The client was using Shopify, which is a popular e-commerce platform that allows businesses to create online stores. If you’re using Shopify, changing the order of products on your page is super easy. Here’s how to do it:
Login to your Shopify account and click on Products from the left-hand menu.
From there, click on Collections and choose the collection that you want to make changes to.
Once you’re on the collection page, make sure you have the product sorting set to ‘Manually’. This will allow you to drag and drop products in any order you’d like.
Finally, simply drag and drop the products in the order you’d like them to be displayed on your page.
